Brazil’s infrastructure is one of the best developed in the Latin American region. However, lack of adequate power supplies and pipeline infrastructure has had an adverse impact on the competitiveness of the Brazilian chemicals and materials industry. Changing demographic structure and the increase in the preteen and teen population categories is expected to drive the consumption of cosmetics and toiletries. The increase in per capita income, the balanced income distribution, and the sustained population growth, witnessed in Brazil are likely to increase the demand for food and beverages products in the country. Growth opportunities arising out of social, demographic and infrastructure trends are analyzed in this research service.
