In June, the European Data Forum (EDF) 2016 brought together about 1,000 participants from almost 50 countries in Eindhoven, Netherlands to share and discuss ideas about the importance, proliferation, and uses of data in the global economy and society. Three parallel tracks saw senior and executive leaders deliver more than 40 presentations to a Big Data and analytics-interested audience from the industry, politics, and education sectors.
