Description

Cloud migration—specifically, migrating legacy applications and data to a cloud environment—has become one of the top hindrances companies face when planning and implementing a cloud strategy. This is due to a number of reasons, both technical and non-technical, including the physical challenge of moving vast amounts of data to the cloud; incompatibility of non-cloud native apps with a cloud environment; and lack of on-staff knowledge to manage the migration without disrupting productivity and introducing risk.

Global System Integrators (GSIs) and Managed Services Providers (MSPs) are among a number of market players that have stepped up to support companies in their cloud strategies. They leverage their experience and cloud providers’ tools and capabilities to execute a successful migration and operation of the infrastructure. However, GSIs and MSPs themselves face challenges: gaining and retaining support from enterprise customers’ leaders, and recruiting, training and retaining qualified IT staff are among the most critical ones.

In this report, we provide the market sizing and forecasts for Managed Public Cloud Services in Latin America, an overview of key market trends and plot 15 leading service providers on the radar chart, based on in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis. In addition, we provide end-user insights based on a recent survey with IT decision makers in Latin America.
