This technology opportunity engine (TOE) service, Inside Research and Development, depicts the current landscape and the new trends in a series of developments associated with innovations in autonomous vehicles, energy generation, energy storage, microfluidic diagnostics, and cosmetic testing.
Regarding mobility, emphasis has been made on technologies enabling autonomous transportation, evaluating novel navigation systems. New energy generation systems were also evaluated in this issue through solar-powered hydrogen generation, while new energy storage systems were profiled through temperature controlled batteries. In the current study, the convergence of disciplines is highlighted through microfluidic technology in the form of reusable microfluidic diagnostic device, as well as, 4d laser bioprinting utilized for cosmetic testing.
