As with every cardiology tradeshow today, the show floor of the 2014 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress in Barcelona (Aug. 30-Sept. 3) reserved quite a significant presence for medical imaging. This comes as no surprise, since imaging and informatics continues to reaffirm their role as an important driving force for advancing several areas of the cardiovascular care continuum— from non-invasive diagnostic imaging to image guidance during interventional procedures, to driving the entire department’s workflow.
